Here's the first two items I made for Christmas, cranberry and almond biscotti, and some chocolate fudge with icing sugar sprinkled on top, as if it isn't sweet enough. lol Sure enjoying baking and giving it away to friends that don't bake at all.
This weekend, coming up, is the last ISHW and I'm looking forward to it. My first piece to work on is the Mill Hill Cardinal Christmas band kit. I just started this and mostly beading so far, only a few cross stitches. Then if I complete this I am going to move on to the 5th piece of 6 from the Lucie Heaton Snowy Christmas. So much fun to stitch and quite quick as well. Happy Stitching everyone! :)
Oh my goodness! Those cookies look good! Nice Mill Hill kit.
ReplyDeleteThanks Deb! I'm looking forward to working on the kit. :)

Hi Valma: Yes, too bad computers don't have free tasting! So interesting to me about this kit, as the one I just finished was the first Mill Hill kit, now I can't wait to finish this one! :)
DeleteYummy food & great stitching!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mii! Great to stitch and have a treat on the side with a good cup of tea! :)
DeleteSo yummy! Til I looked closely, I though the ornament was edible too. ;-)
ReplyDeleteGood start on the band. That will make a very pretty piece.
Thanks Annie! I wish I could make cookies that adorable like the ornament I designed. I am really looking forward to working again this weekend for ISHW on the band! :) Happy Holidays to you!!
DeleteOh, they both look wonderful, Anne! I usually do my Christmas baking at Thanksgiving and freeze half for the holidays, but I may have to add a couple of new cookies this year, too.
ReplyDeletePretty WIP!! Enjoy :)
I agree Carol with baking early and freezing. This year I;m trying not to eat so much of it, so just baking and giving, because I know if I put it in the freezer I will nibble away at it! lol Love to see your goodies too! :)
DeleteThose cakes look yummy and go down a treat with a nice cup of coffee. :)
ReplyDeleteLook forward to seeing the band with all the beads finished up.
Thanks Julie! They are yummy! :) I don't drink coffee any more though; gave it up when I quit smoking years ago, but tea works for me. Will post a new pic of band next week after the ISHW. :)
Deleteyummy cakes...and the band looks gorgeous...can't wait to see you finish it..
ReplyDeleteThanks Nima! Good thing I have friends to give all the goodies to, as I would probably nibble away at them each day!! This weekend I shall be working mostly on the band! :)
