Today I completed the freebie Trick or Treat design that was in the JCS Halloween 2012 with the Sullivan black thread. It turned out very cute and I attached a flat piece of magnet to the back. I did see, and not sure if you can tell with the black, but it did not cover the same as all the DMC threads I used. So I shall stick with DMC or Anchor for sure, as they are more quality threads in my opinion. :)
Cute finish! I haven't opened my kit yet. Some people love Sullivan's and think the coverage is better than DMC. I've never tried it myself. But I have all the DMC colors and Sullivan isn't sold anywhere close by, so that clinches it for me!
