Santa Afghan part 4

Hi! I completed the Santa with sleigh section of the Santa Afghan this evening.  I did change the sign which read petrol  to read Gas.  Now on to the part, which I put the little pic in corner, of the world with presents floating under it.   And I was thinking too, although I have still a few more sections to do, how shall i back this cute afghan.   What ideas do you have my friends?  I was thinking maybe some fleece, or flannelette? hmmm  ?   Well, anytway, still cold here until Saturday, Chinook  winds bringing in a supposed 11c. That would be so lovely! Could open windows and let the winter dust blow out.  lol!( Tonight is -27c with the windchill!  brrrrr  )    Happy Stitching everyone!! :)

    1. Thanks so much! 4 sections to go and then backing. I don't want to see or feel all those threads, especially if it ends up being a child's blanket! :) Happy Stitching!

  4. Great work. I'm really looking forward to seeing the completed afghan. Wish I could help with a suggestion for the backing, but that's way out of my comfort zone, unfortunately.

  5. It's looking great! For finishing could you use some flannel in a Christmas pattern, or a thin layer of fleece and then some Christmas fabby over it?
It will be fabulous no matter what you decide!

  7. Very cute! :)
I would totally back it with fleece or flannel. They have such great lightweight options in both now.
