Winter's still here, at least for another 10 days!! I took this pic this past week when we had a snow storm move in. I couldn't see across one block.
With the bad weather though, comes some good time stitching time, so I have almost completed Tatty Teddy Baby Sampler. I am just working on the Tatty part right now, and will have to add name, date and time once my great nephew is born. As you can see I changed the blanket in the pattern again. This time I actually have used two of the colours from his bedroom.
Newton is coming along fairly well too, with a bit of stitching left, and then can begin the backstitching.
Hope you are all have a great stitchy weekend. :)
Cutie Newtown is coming along nicely! Happy stitching Anne!!
ReplyDeleteHi Mii! Thanks for coming to visit! I hope to have Newton done soon. Happy stitching to you too Mii! :)
DeleteI like both of your stitcheries ... Tatty Teddy will be a beautiful birth sampler. In my neck of the woods I fear that spring by the calendar will not be much help but we can hope. A prairie winter usually provides a lot of sunshine and at least one spell of warm weather that we often refer to as the 'bonspiel thaw' but not this year. Alas, cabin fever rages. :)
ReplyDeletelol, that's a great name for it!! I am happy to report I started my daily walk, outside yesterday. And today it's up to 7c so enjoying the windows open while I do a little cleaning. Calgary is a surprise weather day everyday!! Thanks for the nice comment. :)
DeleteWow,all that snow. They say we may have snow tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteTatty Bear and Newton are just cute.
It was quite a storm, snowing and blowing! But yesterday and today it's much warmer - up to 7c today. I started walking outside again yesterday, which is much better than the apt hallway all winter! Thanks for the lovely comment. Hope your snow wasn't too bad. Happy Stitching! :)
