Fun and Busy Week!

I received my beautiful fabric from Greta at DoveStitch.  Thank you so much Greta.  They have such a  wonderful choice of coloured fabrics, aida, evenweave (which I'm using for this design) and linen. I suggest you try them for the fabric you'd like. :)

I couldn't wait until this little cute was totally completed to show you.  Just waiting on great copper button from Turkey, (Olay store on etsy) for the bottom of this guy.  The copper beads match very well in person to the copper tail that I made by hand.

I started Oct 2008 of the Margaret Sherry 2009 calendar.  She has been a very quick stitch!  She is called Domestic Goddess.  I wish I had her around here!

Lizzie Kate designed this very cute piece.  It was fun to stitch and I love the colours.  I added a little heart love embellishment and a small sunflower button on the hanger.   I just finished it off by backing it with some green felt and made it flat. The hanger is actually some of the side thread I pulled off the edge of this off white fabric.

I only did a few more stitches this week on HAED - Candy Rush.

I found this little freebie while searching through for something in my stash, and I decided to start it.  It's Margaret Sherry 'Haircut' ..a little hedgehog!  :)

This little Newton is coming along fine.  I am still missing his other antler and that makes him a bit lopsided, or like a tree living on his head but still adorable!  One of the colours of his body is completed and it makes it look , to me, like a skeleton.  lol

Slowly but surely, I'm getting this little TT sampler done.  I added one more colour.  I hope to work on him a little more this week to see if I am able to complete him.

Well, thank you to everyone for coming by to see my weekly update.  I've been looking at all the posts of blogs I follow and so much stitching is beautiful to see.  I also ordered three of the Jingles! by Lizzie Kate and can't wait to get each monthly one, this year.  I also want to thank all the great designers as well for their gorgeous designs!  Thank You very much, it is so wonderful to have such amazing designs to choose from!!  :)

    1. You're welcome Annie. I am enjoying stitching on it, as it's soft and subtle and that's what I like. I am definitely enjoying stitching more these colder days, but once it warms I will be outside much more! :)

    1. Hi Lulu. Thank you, I want to start new ones, but trying to stay to a few each week until each is finished and then start another, or, which I should really do, is pick up one of the UFOs I have. :)

    1. Thanks Kate. I don't feel that busy, but when I like a design, it is easier to stitch quicker possibly. :)

    1. Thanks Carol! I know, it amazes me sometimes too. But with the hours I have available to stitch, I take my time and enjoy each little stitch and mostly each day is on one or two only, so about the same as you really!! :) Happy Stitching!

  14. It's wonderful to see all the things you are working on! I don't think I'd be able to manage so many projects at once and not feel guilty about not working on the ones I'm not working on - that said I DO have multiple projects going at any one time - just different ones ;)

  15. The trick for me on working on a few different stitchings, is to not put them away in the cupboard or such, as then I forget about them and start another new design. I do have some older ones, I listed on my blog as UFO's, but "m trying to do one of them each month at least to catch up on them! :) Happy Day to you and I hope you have fun with your projects, MM!! :)
