Forgot to show you!

I forgot to show you this ornament called Mary which is one of eight designs from Medieval Moments by Carolyn Mitchell Designs.  It is done with a few different types of stitches on a #18 mono canvas.  The interesting thing about it is when a light is behind it, as you can see, it shines through, making it very pretty.  I completed this in December and hung it on my tree 2012.  I really enjoyed trying all the different stitching and using the canvas.  There are gold beads on the edge as well as within the designs on the front and back and burgandy Swarovski crystals as well. The back is exactly the same as the front, done on one piece and folded over and then edged, adding the edge beads, hanger and the bead at the bottom.

This week I have been working on 5 projects, giving some time in the evening to each one.  I have completed one, just to finish another, and one is the HAED so that's my 2 year project, lol.  The other two are about half done.  I will post pics of them hopefully by Sunday.  Happy Stitching to everyone!!
