Hope most of you are enjoying some nice weather like we are here.  It's 11c today and the sun is shining so brightly.  I completed June and finished July and August over the past couple of weeks.  Hope you will enjoy seeing them.   On to September today!  I made a booboo with the bottom border, but since this stitching is  for me, I am not going to frog those stitches.  It looks fine to me.  :)

I am enjoying stitching these lovely houses and flowers, and it was making me think about seeds and plants to purchase this year for my plot in the community garden.  I think this year, depending on where it is situated, shade or sun (as I missed last year and had to give up my lovely spot) I shall not be growing tomatoes but will put in snow peas along the fencing, spinach, lettuce, garlic (for harvest next year),onions, both green and bulb, and some more chives and parsley.  Carrots if it's in the sun.  We must fence in each plot as the Richardson ground squirrels love free food all summer!  lol

I hope to keep you all updated with the garden this year, possibly with pics.  It is such a blessing to be able to grow some fresh vegies and maybe even some flowers to bring the pollinators!  The plot is only 4 ft by 8 ft, I believe, and so if one is careful on how to plant seeds, lots of tasty food will be harvested over the season.

Happy Stitching everyone and hope my thoughts on my little garden plot make you smile and think of maybe growing a little yourself.  Even a large pot on a balcony can grow some nice tomatoes or vegies too!  :)
