Winter White Woodlands

Just completed today the first design in a line of Winter White Woodlands designs either to be done in a strip of 8 or singularly.  I chose single so that I may give them on cards for Christmas.   I worked it in two threads over two instead of one thread over two since I also used a DMC gold metallic fabric for the background.  I like the look of it.  I also used one strand of white DMC along with one strand of Pearlecent Effects E5200 for the smyrna snowflakes and the snow.   The DMC white by itself just did not have much look to it, as it was quite hidden by the gold metallic of the fabric.    Happy stitching everyone!!  :)
