Long Time

Hi all.. Well, it's been a long time since I've blogged ! Summer is great and I have been enjoying gardening in the community garden. I have already eaten tons of lettuce, onions, and just this week, been eating snow peas for supper. Yay.. I did cut back some parsley yesterday which I am drying right now. I thinned out the basil which is also growing nicely. Also the carrots, and they seem to be doing well too. I did plant another couple of rows of carrots since they are my favourite and they are much shorter in height than the ones I planted end of May. But they will be nice by September. The Roma tomatoes are so cute on the vine and can't wait to taste them as they ripen.. Probably in about a couple of weeks I shall have at least two of them turning red. So many of them are still small and really green.. The Tiny Tim tomatoes are coming along as well with lots of them growing. I wonder if all of them will ripen at the same time. I guess then I will have to make some salsa or tomatoe sauce.. Yum ! Well, happy gardening to those who do, and also happy stitching to all my friends.
