Hi!

It's been a while, hasn't it!?  lol   I am finally back to stitching in the past couple of weeks and finding there isn't enough time in the day to work on all my stitching.  :)   I am stitching on a couple of exchanges and also beginning on a stitch for a November exchange which includes a little shopping for stitchy stuff!  Yay!   In July I received the most beautiful, sweet items from Noni in Australia for the Blogaversary Exchange with http://msherrylovers.blogspot.ca/   Here's a pic!
Noni especially made the stitched Margaret Sherry sheep and then painted the box for me.  It is extra wonderful and I am using it for threads and needles and things that I am working with on one project.  Aren't those scissors just adorable!? And I have so many scissors that the scissor fobs have come in handy!

Well, I am putting some of my cross stitch away at this time, since we are lucky in our building to be getting new windows and new balcony doors, so things have to be away from the windows .  I'm just about done, but with so much stash, it's difficult to figure out where to put it all.  lol  :)

But of course, I am keeping my current stitching in a box ready to move, since we all know its pretty hard to pack it away and leave it for months!  I did also pack my camera somewhere and so when I find it I will update you all with pics of everything I'm stitching on.   Get ready sometime to spend a while looking at pics!  lol

Take care all, and I hope you are all enjoying a wonderful summer. (We now have some warm days in Calgary).  Happy Stitching!  :)

    1. Thanks Julie, but have to say, its quite a mess as they do each suite, but they do clean up their mess afterwards, which is a bonus! Happy Stitching! :)

  4. I remember when we got all new windows & doors in my condo. I used it as an excuse to throw away a lot of needless junk just so I had some room to move things temporarily. Worked out very well, but now I've re-accumulated more junk!

    1. I totally agree Annie, as I have done the same thing, got rid of papers and some trinkets that people gave me many years ago, They were packed away in the buffet never used. I bet it was nice once the new windows and doors went in . I am patiently waiting for mine but not getting much sleep with the bang, bang, bang, all day as they remove the stucco. But I suppose I can imagine that our building will look very updated for its 31 years once its all done! Besides the less I sleep, the more I stitch! lol Happy Stitching! :)

    1. Thanks so much Annette! Noni did spoil me! She is wonderful!! They start next week on my balcony removing the stucco but not replacing as yet so that will be a while. I heard the windows will be started on main floor around 3 weeks from now, so that will be a while before they get to 10th floor! :) Silly me washed the floors today, forgetting that there will be tons of dust starting Monday. lol Oh well, I can enjoy it til then!! Happy Belated Birthday to you by the way! Sorry I missed it, but hope you had a great day!! :)

PS: the pattern came from the UK Cross Stitcher magazine, issue 234 January 2011. It was back in the good old days of when they had monthly Margaret Sherry designs. :)
